In simple terms, cloud computing is to access on-demand software and hardware resources on the Internet. The requests of all these resources are delivered as services. All these requests will be delivered in the form of services.
You can also understand cloud computing in another way like an Information Technology company has all the resources like applications, servers, infrastructure, and how to use these resources. And they offer a few of these resources to different companies as a service. There are two major classifications of these services:
- IaaS-Infrastructure as a Service: It is the offer of renting of hardware resources like computing power and memory.
- SaaS-Software as Service: It means rental of licenses of subscription-based software.

There are many benefits of cloud computing in the modern age. The major and most important advantage of cloud computing is the elevated and enhanced computing power. Along with this amazing benefit, there are many technical advantages of cloud computing which are:

Data that is kept in the cloud has an enormously increased level of security because of the redundant systems that almost all data centers have. All systems are quite updated and up to the mark. The back-up archives of all of the stored data are completed in an automatic manner with regular and consistent intervals and are stored in different locations. Data theft is almost impossible because of the encryption of data transmission. The only risk, which is of quite low chance, is that only physical data theft, but it is also highly unlikely.
Types of cloud deployment
There are majorly three types of cloud computing or cloud deployment including Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud.
A public cloud is a third-party service provider and it is monitored or administered. Normally the service provider of public cloud offers storage via the web and also provides servers. CLoud provider also owns and manages all software, hardware, and support infrastructure. The client or the team only uses these services through an internet browser.
The private cloud is the usage of cloud computing services or resources by a single organization or company. It can also be physically located in a data center on the premises of the company.
The hybrid cloud is the combination above mentioned both types including private cloud and public cloud. It allows data and application sharing by linking with the technology.
In short, Cloud computing is a very advanced and reliable technology that allows and assists the distribution of computing services and provides the luxury to access these services online without installing any application or programs.
